Every team member at Le Chateau Pet Resort plays an important role in creating five-star vacations for pets and peace of mind for their parents. From caring for our guests directly to supporting their families at the front desk, each position offers purpose, training, and room to grow.
Pet Concierge
The pet concierge team is trained in multiple tasks to promote the safety and wellbeing of our guests, cleanliness of the resort, and the safety and enrichment of dogs, cats, and other pets in our care. As a Pet Concierge, you’ll rotate through these roles during your work week, giving you a variety of experiences, ongoing training, and opportunities to grow within the company.
Suds Specialist
The primary responsibility of this position is to make sure the pet goes home clean and smelling fresh after an active vacation. Using safe, fear free procedures to keep the pet comfortable throughout their spa treatments, suds specialists add the finishing touches to the perfect stay. Working in cooperation with play attendants the assure pet’s get optimized play time and still get their bath in time for a sparkling greeting when their parents arrive to take them home. Suds specialists maintain the cleanliness of the spa, refilling products with proper dilutions, cut bandanas for a special touch and assist groomers if one is present.
Play Attendant
The play attendants are responsible for the safety and supervision of the dogs during play times. They will participate in the evaluation of each guest to assure they are placed in the proper play group for their size, temperament, and playstyle. While attending to safe-off leash play, they will interact with and provide enriching activities during group, maintain clean play yards, take pics to share the fun with parents. They will assure toys in the yards are clean and safe, and complete report cards so parents know how their pet did.
Pawtender
Pawtenders are primarily responsible for getting our guests set up in their suites or condos and ready for a fun stay. They greet clients and pets, offering to help with belongings before taking the pet to their home away from home. They assure all pets’ belongings are placed for their enjoyment, that food is properly stored, and suite cards are in sight for the rest of team members to continue care. Pawtenders perform housekeeping tasks assuring all pet areas and hallways are sparkling clean. They assure toys, play equipment, and private yards are clean at all times. Pawtenders provide lunches and noon time treats to all guests, and special care for the cats to receive interaction and rotational play. At checkout they pack up belongings to assure everything goes home with our guests and assist clients to their car.
In addition to these tasks pet concierge staff clean and sanitize suites upon exit, help keep floors clean, and make sure trashes are disposed of daily.
Moonlight Patrol
The Moonlight Patrol team are our compassionate overnight caregivers. Their primary responsibility is feeding and properly administering medications to the guests in our care, providing lots of cuddles and assuring each guest has a comfortable night’s rest. While guests rest they will continue cleaning protocols such as laundry, dish washing, dusting, cleaning common areas and making sure floors sparkle.
Client Concierge
Our client concierge is the primary client contact. They assist clients with reservations and questions they have about their pet’s stay, providing tours and information, and gaining insight of the client and pets needs. They could be called our care coordinators as they take all information and instructions from the pet parent then carefully and effectively communicate to the rest of the team so we can provide extraordinary care. Their empathy and willingness to help provide the peace of mind to our clients that their pet is in good hands. Additionally, the client concierge assists clients by introducing them to products and supplies found in our boutique that could be helpful to their pet.
Junior Pet Concierge
The junior pet concierge is an entry level position for those seeking to become team members but have limited experience or skills. They begin primarily focused on providing a clean safe environment for the pets learning proper cleaning procedures while training in pet care protocols,
Management Team
The management team may consist of leads, assistant manager, general manager, board of directors, and president. They work together in team training, development and culture, client experiences and relationships, quality control, community presence and participation, facility oversight, safety, and growth. Responsibilities include recruitment, training, developing, and scheduling a team assuring client satisfaction and extraordinary pet care. Creating a culture of care for pets, clients, and our team. Assuring we are kept front of mind they provide physical and online presence consistent with our brand. They research and market boutique products for the enjoyment and benefit of people and their pets. They assure continued quality and growth.
